Who covers the costs of my treatment?

Our practice operates on a self-pay basis. Billing is carried out according to the Fee Schedule for Alternative Practitioners (GebüH) and is generally covered by private insurance and government aid programs. However, full reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.

Some major public health insurance providers now also reimburse a portion of the treatment costs. You can find more information on this here.

Please check with your health insurance provider regarding coverage options before beginning treatment.

Do I need a prescription or referral?

A prescription is not required to use our services. However, if you plan to submit the costs to your public health insurance, a prescription may be necessary. Some public health insurance providers now partially cover treatment costs. In most cases, you will need a prescription or a recommendation letter from a doctor for this. Please check with your health insurance provider to see if partial coverage is possible and whether a prescription or recommendation letter is required.

If you have supplemental or private insurance, payment can be made conveniently by bank transfer with a 14-day payment period.

How does an osteopathic treatment proceed?

An osteopathic treatment typically begins with an initial consultation to take a detailed patient history. This is followed by a comprehensive osteopathic examination, leading into the actual treatment. The session concludes with a brief consultation to discuss key findings, provide an explanation of the treatment performed, and review any recommendations.

The number of necessary treatments varies individually and depends on several factors. Each patient presents with a unique medical history and specific concerns that require a tailored treatment strategy. Key influences on the treatment plan include the type and severity of symptoms, the duration of the existing issue, and the individual’s response to treatment.

Additionally, the patient’s overall health status—including age, fitness level, and lifestyle—plays an important role in healing and rehabilitation. Our priority is to follow a personalized approach to achieve optimal results and ensure long-term improvements in health and quality of life.

FAQ´s Integrative Medicine

How does an integrative medical treatment proceed?

For first-time patients or during the initial appointment, a comprehensive medical history is first taken. This is especially important for chronic illnesses or persistent complaints, where numerous significant details cannot be fully captured in a brief consultation. Following this, a physical examination is conducted along with a kinesiological assessment. All findings are then summarized and discussed in a concluding conversation. Additionally, further diagnostic measures, such as lab tests, are explained.
